  53. Changes: BookMarks now save "titles" whether "codes" are in
  54. use. Encrypted format is now auto-detected when CodeBook 1.25
  55. was used. Format keyword is redundant, but allowed. The name of
  56. a book can be given at Dos command line. Closing logo
  57. reworded. HardCopy can read encoded books, and use MicroStar
  58. printer definitions. Enabled .Execute[ .. /Q ] as documented.

  86. like [Enter]. [Home] and [End] send "press enter" icon to

  90. routine "extends" backup by topic. Less likely to fall into
  91. a loop when one topic calls another which goes back to the

  110. strings return a zero value when converted. Pagination
  111. feature uses last line of window properly. "Extended" keys
  112. do not bypass "Press Enter" icon. ChkPrn utility does not
  113. "initialize" printers. Prompts and boilerplate in Topx
  114. utility reworded. Trivial correction to Iris-Doc (no need to
  115. review). Inserted list of "synomyn" keys to .Macro topic in
  116. Iris-Ref.

  119. 1.20 -- major upgrade, release 09-10-1989.

  121. Additions:  Topic names can be placed in text or in popup
  122. menus. The menu items, "Contents" and "Index", can be linked
  123. to author-defined topics.  [BackSpace] menu offers "Screen",
  124. "Topic", or "View". [Ctrl] codes can be placed in text to
  125. change screen colors (codes compatible with Galaxy and
  126. Sprint WP programs).  [^K] and [^L] are considered "note"
  127. characters.  Tabs can be replaced with spaces.  The
  128. .Contents keyword now controls additional menu items.  The
  129. .Execute keyword can use a "quiet" mode (command is not
  130. echoed).  New keywords: codes, contents, float, hotchr,
  131. hotsub, inxpage, loadwndw, macro, macroAdd, savetext,
  132. savewndw, tabs, tborder, tcolor, text, tocpage, topic.
  133. Altogether, 48 keywords are now supported. ASCII and Sprint
  134. files can be both be read under program defaults.  Hardcopy
  135. utility distributed with program.

  137. Changes:  The term "Page" is replaced with "Topic"
  138. throughout. Backup by Topic now available through
  139. [BackSpace] menu.  [Tab] key selects HotWords.  The
  140. "Pick-List" is now called "View-List". The "Quit" menu item
  141. is now called "X-Exit".  Maximum length for Topic or
  142. Variable names is 23 characters (up from 16).  Maximum
  143. Topics/Variables per books is 400 (down from 512).  Maximum
  144. popup items per page is 64 (down from 128).  The .macro
  145. keyword can use [ctrl] characters in "DOS" format.  Frompage
  146. keyword is dropped (use Return instead).  The (proprietary)
  147. index format is modified to include a "header" and "record
  148. separator".  The default index extension is now ".Mrk."
  149. Revised documentation to  reflect additions and changes.
  150. Iris registration fee is now $8.00.  Prism: The "Pages" menu
  151. item is now called "Labels". Topx utility distributed with
  152. program. Prism registration fee is now $16.00.

  156. charge to all registered users.
